Bernard Challandes
Bernard Challandes (born 26 July 1951) is a Swiss professional football coach and former player who last managed Kosovo. Coaching career Clubs Challandes became coach of Saint-Imier in 1978. Subsequently, he has been the coach of many other teams in the Swiss championship as Le Locle, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Yverdon Sports, Young Boys, Servette, Zürich, Sion, Neuchâtel Xamax and Thun. Challandes was most successful during the time he was coach of Zürich, when it became champions of the 2008–09 season, and with Sion when they won the Swiss Cup in the 2010–11 season. Since 2015, he has been the scout with Basel. The Armenia national football team ( hy, Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքական, ''Hayastani futboli azgayin havak'akan'') represents Armenia in association football and is controlled by the Football Federation of Armenia, the governing body for football in Armenia. After gaining independence from the Soviet Union, the team played its first international match on 12 October 1992. The 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group B was a UEFA qualifying group for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The group comprised Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Armenia and Malta. Vardan Minasyan
Vardan Minasyan ( hy, Վարդան Մինասյան; born 5 January 1974) is a former Armenian footballer who played as a midfielder, and is the former football manager of FC Taraz in the Kazakhstan Premier League. Minasyan has been largely credited for advancing Armenia international and domestic football. He led Armenia to a record 3rd-place finish in Euro 2012 qualifications, where Armenia scored 22 goals, in his first qualification cycle. Minasyan was also the longest serving manager of the Armenian national squad to date and has the best match record of all the former managers of the national team. The UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying Group I was one of the nine groups to decide which teams would qualify for the UEFA Euro 2016 finals tournament. Group I consisted of five teams: Portugal, Denmark, Serbia, Armenia, and Albania, where they played against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The top two teams, Portugal and Albania, qualified directly for the finals. As third-placed Denmark weren't the highest-ranked among all third-placed teams, they advanced to the play-offs, where they lost to Sweden and thus failed to qualify. France were also partnered with the five-team Group I, which enabled the 2016 tournament hosts to play centralised friendlies against these countries on their 'spare' dates. The 2010–11 Swiss Cup was the 86th season of Switzerland's annual football cup competition. It began on 18 September 2010 with the first games of Round 1 and ended on 29 May 2011 with the Final. The winners, FC Sion, claimed their 12th cup overall and will qualify for the play-off round of the UEFA Europa League. The 2008–09 Swiss Super League was the 112th season of top-tier football in Switzerland. The competition is officially named ''AXPO Super League'' due to sponsoring purposes.
