UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifying
The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2012 was a series of parallel association football competitions held over 2010 and 2011 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2012, held in Poland and Ukraine. The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, with matches set to take place between August 2010 and November 2011. There were nine groups. Six of these groups had six teams (one each from pots 1 to 6 below); the remaining three groups consisted of five teams (one each from pots 1 to 5 below). Group competition was a double round robin: each team hosted a game with every other team in its group. The first-place team in each group qualified, along with the second-place team with the most points against teams ranked in the top five in the group. Filip Hološko
Filip Hološko (; born 17 January 1984) is a Slovak former professional footballer who played as a forward or winger. Club career Beşiktaş At the mid of 2007–08 season, he was transferred to Beşiktaş JK in exchange of the forward Burak Yılmaz (a promising youngster at the time) along with veteran defender Koray Avcı plus a considerable sum of €5 million. Regarding the huge amount paid, and two first team regulars given to an exchange deal, both Yıldırım Demirören and the Beşiktaş board were severely criticized by media pundits. However, Hološko managed to blend in after a brief period of time and embarrassed many, with his miraculous performance during the 2008–09 season. Edgar Manucharyan
Edgar Manucharyan ( hy, Էդգար Մանուչարյան, born 19 January 1987) is a former Armenian football player who played as a forward. Club career Ajax In early December 2004, Manucharyan joined Ajax Amsterdam. On 14 December, he took part in a friendly game against the Spanish club Barcelona playing 14 minutes before suffering a foot injury. As was later revealed in a medical examination, Manucharyan had broken the metatarsal bones in his right leg. The same day the Football Federation of Armenia named Manucharyan best player of Armenia in 2004 in a survey conducted among journalists. After the injury, Ajax did not immediately sign a contract with Manucharyan but in July 2005, he joined on a three-year contract with Ajax paying Pyunik a $100,000 fee. Yura Movsisyan
Yura Movsisyan ( hy, Յուրա Մովսիսյան; born 2 August 1987) is an Armenian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Most notably, Movsisyan played for Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League. He played for the Armenia national football team, ending his career with 14 goals in 38 international games. Early life Yura Movsisyan was born 2 August 1987 in Gyumri, Armenia SSR, to an Armenian family of parents Sergey Movsisyan and Aida Sahakyan and brothers Movses and Hovhannes. His family left for the United States between late 1991 and early 1992 due to the Pogrom of Armenians in Baku, settling in the Los Angeles area, where there is a large Armenian community. Mario Gjurovski ( mk, Марио Ѓуровски, sr, Марио Ђуровски / Mario Đurovski; born 11 December 1985) is a Macedonian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder, who is the current manager of Thai League 1 club Muangthong United. RZD Arena (russian: «РЖД Арена») is a football stadium in Moscow, Russia. Formerly known as ''Lokomotiv Stadium'', it is the home stadium of Lokomotiv Moscow and was the home ground of the Russian national team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification matches.
