Beli Potok (Belgrade)
Beli Potok ( sr-cyr, Бели Поток) is a small town and a suburban settlement of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac. Location Beli Potok is located in on the northern slope of the Avala mountain, near the crossroads of the roads of ''Avalski put'', which connects Belgrade with the Avala, and ''Kružni put'', the major road connecting the settlements on the southern outskirts of Belgrade. To the south, Beli Potok extends in the direction of the small town of Pinosava, to the east in the direction of Bubanj Potok and to the north it makes one continuous built-up area with the urban neighborhood of Selo Rakovica, but Beli Potok is administratively classified as a separate settlement and not part of the Belgrade City proper (''uža teritorija grada''). Bubanj Potok
Bubanj Potok ( sr-cyr, Бубањ Поток) is a non-residential suburban settlement of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac. Location Bubanj Potok is located on the highway Belgrade–Niš, in the valley of the same name, a section of the valley of the Bolečica river, where many smaller creeks, some of them intermittent, flow into the Bolečica: ''Bubanj Potok'', ''Zavojnička reka'', ''Vranovac'', ''Kamena voda'', ''Gleđevac'', etc. East of the valley is Leštane, municipality of Grocka, while Beli Potok on the west, mountain Avala on the southwest and Zuce on the south, are in the municipality of Voždovac. Resnik, Belgrade
Resnik ( sr, Ресник, ) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Resnik is located in the southern section of the municipality and makes the southernmost point of the urban Belgrade City Proper. Originally a village distant from Belgrade, which developed between the valleys of the creek of Rakovički potok and the Topčiderka river. The creek of ''Pariguz'' flows through the southern parts of Resnik before it empties into the Topčiderka. The settlement is roughly triangularly shaped and bordered by the settlements of Sunčani Breg, Jelezovac, Straževica (north), Petlovo Brdo and Kijevo (north-west) which make Resnik's urban connection to the rest of Belgrade. Grocka
Grocka ( sr-cyr, Гроцка, ) or Grocka na Dunavu ( sr-cyr, Гроцка на Дунаву, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2011 census results, the municipality has 83,906 inhabitants. Location and geography The municipality is located east of Belgrade, in the northern part of Šumadija region, with the northern section being part of the Podunavlje macro-region in the valley of the Danube, while the southern section is located around the valley of the Ralja River, which is a tributary to the Velika Morava's arm of Jezava. Vrčin
Vrčin ( Serbian Cyrillic: Врчин) is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Grocka. Name Though the village itself was mentioned much later, historians Dušan J. Popović and Vladimir Ćorović traced the name of the locality back to the Roman period and the nearby temple of rcinium. It was dedicated to the Etruscan-Roman goddess of destiny, Nortia. After Slavic settlement, Roman names ending with ''-cin um' were mostly contracted to ''čin'', while suffix ''-dunum'' was morphed into ''din''. rcinium was thus shortened to rčin and then modified to Vrčin. Zuce
Zuce ( Serbian Cyrillic: Зуце) is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac. Location and geography Zuce is the easternmost settlement in the municipality, located in the low Šumadija region, on the eastern slopes of the Avala mountain in the valley of the Vranovac creek, a tributary to the Bolečica river. Zuce is located south-east of downtown Belgrade, next to both the railway and highway Belgrade-Niš. Ripanj
Ripanj ( sr-Cyrl, Рипањ) is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac. It has a distinction of being "the largest village of Serbia" taking in account its number of population, but also because it has the largest area of all rural settlements in the country. Location Ripanj is located some 25 kilometers south of Belgrade, on the southern slopes of the Avala mountain, in the valley of the Topčiderka river. Avalski Venac
Avalski Venac (Cyrillic: Авалски венац) is a proposed municipality of the City of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Movement Movement for creation of the municipality began in 1996 and was enhanced since 2002 and successful campaigning for the re-creation of the municipality of Surčin, which split from the municipality of Zemun, almost 40 years after it was annexed to Zemun. Kafana

First Serbian Uprising
The First Serbian Uprising ( sr, Prvi srpski ustanak, italics=yes, sr-Cyrl, Први српски устанак; tr, Birinci Sırp Ayaklanması) was an uprising of Serbs in the Sanjak of Smederevo against the Ottoman Empire from 14 February 1804 to 7 October 1813. Initially a local revolt against Dahije, renegade janissaries who had seized power through a coup, it evolved into a revolution, war for independence (the Serbian Revolution) after more than three centuries of Ottoman rule and short-lasting Austrian occupations.
