Belgrade Harbour
The Port of Belgrade () is a cargo and passenger port located on the Danube river in Belgrade, Serbia. The port is located in the center of Belgrade, near Pančevo Bridge. It also manages the passenger terminal on the nearby Sava river. The port transfer capacity is three million tons per year and 10,000 TEUs. It also has 300,000 square meters of warehouses and 650,000 square meters of open-air storage areas. The most common load goods are salt, sugar, concrete iron, paper, pipes and artificial fertilizers The port was privatized in 2005, in a process which raised issues of corruption which have not yet been settled. Belgrade Fortress
The Belgrade Fortress ( sr-Cyrl, Београдска тврђава, Beogradska tvrđava), consists of the old citadel (Upper and Lower Town) and Kalemegdan Park (Large and Little Kalemegdan) on the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, in an urban area of modern Belgrade, Serbia. Located in Belgrade's municipality of Stari Grad, the fortress costitutes the specific historical core of the city. As one of the most important representatives of Belgrade's cultural heritage, it was originally protected right after World War II, among the first officially declared cultural monuments in Serbia. The fortress was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1979, and is protected by the Republic of Serbia.
