Bekdoolot Rasulbekov
Bekdoolot Rasulbekov (born 1996) is a Kyrgyzstani weightlifter. He won the bronze medal in the men's 102kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey. He represented Kyrgyzstan at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the men's 96kg event. Career He represented Kyrgyzstan at the 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia in the men's 94kg event. In 2019, he competed in the men's 96kg event at the World Weightlifting Championships held in Pattaya, Thailand. In 2021, he competed at the 2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He finished in 4th place in the men's 102kg event at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He won the silver medal in his event at the 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Manama, Bahrain. Toktogul
Toktogul ( ky, Toктогул, known until 31 July 1957 as ''Muztör'' ()), is a city (since 2012) in Jalal-Abad Region of Kyrgyzstan. Its population was 20,577 in 2021. It is the administrative seat of Toktogul District. It is named after its most famous son: the poet and musician Toktogul Satilganov. The 2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships were held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 16 to 25 April 2021. Olympic weightlifting, or Olympic-style weightlifting (officially named Weightlifting), is a sport in which athletes compete in lifting a barbell loaded with weight plates from the ground to overhead, with each athlete trying to successfully lift the heaviest weights. Athletes compete in two specific ways of lifting the barbell overhead: these are the snatch and the clean and jerk. The ''snatch'' is a wide-grip lift, in which the weighted barbell is lifted overhead in one motion. 2022 World Weightlifting Championships
The 2022 World Weightlifting Championships was a weightlifting competition held in Bogotá, Colombia in December 2022. It was scheduled to be held in Chongqing, China but this changed in March 2022 as a result of COVID-19 measures in China. The new location was announced in April 2022.
