2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships
The 2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships were held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 16 to 25 April 2021. Originally the event was scheduled to take place from 18 to 25 April 2020 but was postponed to 16 to 25 April 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the 49th men's and 30th women's championship. Tashkent
Tashkent (, uz, Toshkent, Тошкент/, ) (from russian: Ташкент), or Toshkent (; ), also historically known as Chach is the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan. Chen Lijun (Chinese 谌利军; born 8 February 1993) is a Chinese weightlifter, Olympic Champion, four time World Champion and two time Asian Champion competing in the 62 kg division until 2018 and 67 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. He is a silver medalist at the 2017 World Weightlifting Championships in Anaheim, United States and the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships in Bogotá, Colombia.
