Bears Academy
Bears Academy is a basketball club based in Aarhus, Denmark. Established in 2007, the club is an affiliate of the Bakken Bears. Since 2018, the team plays in the Basketligaen, the highest level of Danish basketball. History In 2007, the team was established as Elite Basketball Akademi Aarhus (EBAA). It was founded by Bakken Bears as an affiliate team to provide a link between the talent academy and the professional club. The Basketligaen ( en, The Basketball League) is the highest professional basketball league in Denmark. The original men's first division was founded in 1957 and the current league was founded in 1998. All-time record holder in league titles is Bakken Bears, which has captured 18 titles in its history. Vejlby-Risskov Hallen
Vejlby-Risskov Hallen is an indoor arena located in Aarhus, Denmark. It was inaugurated in 1969 and has a capacity for 1,152 spectators. The building is part of the large sports complex of Vejlby-Risskov Idrætscenter, comprising several other sports halls and facilities. Vejlby-Risskov Hallen is home to the handball club SK Aarhus and the basketball Club Bakken Bears. In addition to sports events and daily training, Vejlby-Risskov Hallen is occasionally used as a music and event venue. Bakken Bears
Bakken Bears is a Denmark, Danish professional basketball club based in Aarhus. The club plays in the Basketligaen, the top tier basketball league in Denmark. Founded in 1953, the club has won the Basketligaen 20 times and holds the record for the most championships and has won 11 Danish Men's Basketball Cup, Danish Cups. In sports, a winning percentage is the fraction of games or matches a team or individual has won. The statistic is commonly used in standings or rankings to compare teams or individuals. Team FOG Næstved is a professional basketball team from Næstved, Denmark, playing in the best Danish basketball league, Basketligaen. The 2019–20 Basketligaen is the 45th season of the highest professional basketball tier in Denmark. The season started on 22 September 2019 and was scheduled to end on 13 May 2020. On 17 March 2020, the season was ended prematurely because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the standings at that time, the Bakken Bears were named Danish champions, defending its title. Competition format Teams were divided into two groups: Pro A, joined by the best five teams in the previous season, and Pro B, the rest of the teams. Each team was scheduled to play four times against each other team in their group, and twice with teams from the other group.
