Barbara Hawcroft
Barbara Hawcroft (born 13 October 1950) is an Australian former professional tennis player. She is the younger sister of squash player Marion Jackman. The Wimbledon Championships, commonly known simply as Wimbledon, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. It has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London, since 1877 and is played on outdoor grass courts, with retractable roofs over the two main courts since 2019. Marion Jackman
Marion Jackman (née Hawcroft) is an Australian retired squash player. Jackman began playing squash in 1962 and, having retired temporarily several times, finally stopped playing in 2003. In the early years of her career, Jackman played in tournaments within Australia. She traveled the world for a year to compete in tournaments in 1975, during which she finished runner-up at the British Open (the effective world championship of the sport at the time), losing in the final to Heather McKay. In 1976, Jackman turned professional at the age of 34. That year, an unofficial world championship event known as the Women's World Squash Championship was inaugurated.
