''Balitang A2Z'' () is a Philippine television newscast broadcast by A2Z. It premiered on July 26, 2021. The program is the flagship national newscast of the network and anchored by former DZMM personality Barbie Salvador-Muhlach. Overview Prior to the launch of ''Balitang A2Z'', ABS-CBN News produced news updates for the station called ''A2Z News Alert'' on November 1, 2020. It served as de facto spin-off newscast and free-to-air successor to ''News Patrol'', using the latter's studios and graphics. However, compared to its now-cable counterpart, ''A2Z News Alert'' only airs during events of national importance (e.g. Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses). Q (formerly QTV, standing for Quality TeleVision) was a television network in the Philippines run by GMA Network Inc. through Citynet Network Marketing and Productions, Inc. The 2022 Philippine presidential and vice presidential elections were held on May 9, 2022, as part of the 2022 general election. This was the 17th direct presidential election and 16th vice presidential election in the Philippines since 1935, and the sixth sextennial presidential and vice presidential election since 1992. Incumbent president Rodrigo Duterte was ineligible for re-election because the president is limited to a single term under the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
