''Bad Actress'' is a 2011 American independent feature film, directed by Robert Lee King, written by David Michael Barrett, produced by Lisa Schahet, and starring Beth Broderick as has-been TV star Alyssa Rampart-Pillage. The picture had its world premiere at the Miami International Film Festival in March, 2011. A dark comedy, the movie is a retelling of the Greek tragedy Elektra set in the San Fernando Valley. David Michael Barrett (born April 3, 1971) is an American screenwriter and film producer in Los Angeles, California. Best known for his films ''Bad Actress'', ''Such Good People'' and '' Kiss Me, Kill Me'', his play ''Brentwood'' was featured in Noah Wylie's prestigious Blank Theatre Company's Living Room Series of new works. Gregory Everett "Greg" Proops (born October 3, 1959) is an American actor, stand-up comedian and television host. He is widely known for his guest appearances on the U.K. and U.S. versions of ''Whose Line Is It Anyway?''. He has also voiced the titular character on the U.S. version of ''Bob the Builder''. Cleveland International Film Festival
The Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) is an annual film festival based in Cleveland, Ohio. It is the largest film festival in Ohio. It was first held in 1977, showing eight films over a period of eight weeks at the Cedar Lee Theatre.
