Aurangzaib Farooqi ( ur, ) is a Pakistani Islamist Religious cleric and the current chief of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama'at. Farooqi also took part in 2013 Pakistani election. Biography He was born on 10 November 1972 in Abbottabad, Pakistan. After his primary education, Farooqi went to study at Jamia Faridia in Islamabad for further education, where he studied for 2 years. He then studied at Jamia Farooqia in Karachi, where he was a student of Saleemullah Khan and Muhammad Adil Khan. He graduated from Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia, Banuri Town a Seminary in Karachi, where he completed the customary Dars-i Nizami. Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi ( ur, ) is the current Sarparast-e-Aala of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama'at (ASWJ), a proscribed group in Pakistan. Ludhianvi became the head of ASWJ (then knows as Sipah-e Sahaba) upon the death of the previous chief, Ali Sher Haidri, in a 2009 ambush. Ludhianvi is also the Secretary General of Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC). Ludhianvi is on the Pakistani legislature's list of persons with suspected ties to terrorism. In Islam, a khatib, khateeb or hatib ( ar, خطيب ''khaṭīb'') is a person who delivers the sermon (''khuṭbah'') (literally "narration"), during the Friday prayer and Eid prayers.
