Adventure Cycling Association's Atlantic Coast Bicycle Route is a bicycle touring route traversing the East Coast of the United States. The route has two connecting segments, extending nearly the entire length of the nation's eastern margin. The northern section of the route features historic New England coastal villages and towns, rural countrysides, and Amish farmlands. The route's southern section begins after the Mason–Dixon Line (the boundary between Pennsylvania and Maryland) and is notable for the American Civil War, Civil War battlefields in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and the city of Richmond, Virginia. Valley Forge National Historic Park
Valley Forge National Historical Park is the site of the third winter encampment of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, taking place from December 19, 1777, to June 19, 1778. The National Park Service preserves the site and interprets the history of the Valley Forge encampment. Originally Valley Forge State Park, it became a national historical park in 1976. Hudson River
