As Cities Burn is an American post-hardcore band from Mandeville, Louisiana, that formed in 2002 and has released four studio albums. Their debut, '' Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest'', was released in 2005. Two years later, they released ''Come Now Sleep''. Then, in 2009, As Cities Burn released their third album, '' Hell or High Water''. The band had performed from 2011 through 2016, but drummer Aaron Lunsford announced, on August 16, 2016, that the group disbanded. In December 2017, As Cities Burn reunited and went on tour to open up for Emery, and announced that they were staying together and writing new music. ''Come Now Sleep'' was the second studio album by Christian indie rock band As Cities Burn, released on August 14, 2007, by Tooth & Nail/ Solid State labels. ''Come Now Sleep'' was produced by Matt Goldman. The album saw commercial successes and positive critical attention. Music and lyrics Blake Soloman of AbsolutePunk said that "As Cities Burn made huge changes to their sound, and most of it works." Cross Rhythms' Christian Cunningham wrote that "Throughout, the introspective, brooding songcraft gives the album a melancholic intensity. Lyrically there are some meaty subjects to chew on, lending the whole proceedings an even weightier air." Mandeville is a city in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. Its population was 11,560 at the 2010 U.S. census, and 13,192 at the 2020 United States census. Sincebyman was a five-piece American band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, founded in 1999. Their debut full-length album, ''We Sing the Body Electric'', was released on November 30, 2002. This was followed by ''A Love Hate Relationship'' (Revelation Records, 2004), a 4-song EP, and ''Pictures from the Hotel Apocalypse'' (Revelation Records, 2005), their final full length on Revelation Records. Following ''Pictures from the Hotel Apocalypse'', their contract with Revelation ended and the band was supposedly writing songs for a new album. Silverstein () is a Canadian rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 2000. Their band name is a reference to the famous children's author Shel Silverstein, whom the band had admired and whose work they had read as children. They have released a total of 11 studio albums, seven EPs, a compilation album and a live DVD/CD. Better Off is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2011 under the name Friends. They changed their name in early 2013 to Better Off due to another group sharing the Friends name. They have released two albums, ''(I Think) I'm Leaving'' (2013) and ''Milk'' (2015), the latter of which charted on the Heatseekers Albums and Independent Albums charts. In March 2016, while on tour with Mayday Parade and The Maine, it was announced that the group would be dropping off tour and "going silent for a while" following sexual assault and abuse allegations against the bands former touring bassist, David Hobbs. Haste the Day was an American metalcore band formed in Carmel, Indiana in 2001 and signed to Solid State Records. Their name is derived from a lyric in the hymn " It Is Well with My Soul" by Horatio Spafford. The band released an EP titled '' That They May Know You'', in 2002, followed by five studio albums: '' Burning Bridges'' (2004), ''When Everything Falls'' (2005), '' Pressure the Hinges'' (2007), '' Dreamer'' (2008), and '' Attack of the Wolf King'' (2010). Emery is an American post-hardcore band formed in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2001 by Toby Morrell, Devin Shelton, Matt Carter, Josh Head, Joel Green, and Seth Studley. The band relocated to Seattle in order to reach a more music-centered scene. Before signing with Tooth & Nail Records, Emery recorded two EPs, ''The Columbus EEP Thee'' and ''The Weak's End'' demo that they used to attract attention from labels. With Tooth & Nail, they recorded five studio albums and two EPs. '' The Weak's End'', their debut album, was released in 2004, followed by '' The Question'' in 2005 and '' I'm Only a Man'' in 2007.
