Armin Sinančević
Armin Sinančević (; born 14 August 1996) is a Serbian shot putter. Career 2019 Sinančević competed in the men's shot put event at the World Athletics Championships held in Doha, Qatar. He progressed to the final with then-personal best of 21.51 m, but failed to record a mark in the final. 2021 Sinančević finished in 6th place in the men's shot put event at the European Athletics Indoor Championships held in Toruń, Poland. In a Diamond League meeting in Doha in late May, he tied his own recently set national record of 21.88 m. It was the longest shot in the event, but he finished in third place under new "Final Three" format, where the three leading competitors through five rounds qualify for the sixth round, which is then solely used to determine the final ranking of the top three. Prijepolje
Prijepolje ( sr-cyr, Пријепоље, ) is a town and municipality located in the Zlatibor District of southwestern Serbia. As of 2011 census, the town has 13,330 inhabitants, while the municipality has 37,059 inhabitants. Etymology One possible meaning of the name Prijepolje is "Prija's field", where Prija is the owner of ''polje'', the "field" in English. However, a more likely theory is that the name originates from the location of Prijepolje and its relationship to the travels of caravans. 2019 World Athletics Championships – Men's Shot Put
The men's shot put at the 2019 World Athletics Championships was held at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha from 3 to 5 October 2019. Summary It took 20.90 to automatically qualify. Exactly 12 men made that distance, eight of them on their first attempt. There were no further place qualifiers to the final. This was the cap to a build up of several strong athletes. Ryan Crouser (born December 18, 1992) is an American shot putter and discus thrower. He is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and Olympic record holder. Crouser is the current world record holder in the shot put, both indoor and outdoor. On June 18, 2021, at the 2020 United States Olympic Trials (track and field), U.S. Olympic Trials he threw 23.37 m (76 ft in) on his fourth attempt to beat Randy Barnes's 31-year-old record of 23.12 m by almost 10 inches (25 cm). As of September 2022, Crouser has thrown 8 of the 12 longest shot puts of all time outdoors. Golden Gala is an annual track and field event normally held at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, Italy. Previously one of the IAAF Golden League events, it is now part of the Diamond League. Following the 2013 death of Italian sprinting legend Pietro Mennea, the organizers added his name to the title of the meet. The 2021 event was temporarily relocated to Florence. The Doha Diamond League is an annual one-day track and field meeting held at the Suheim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar. It is part of the Diamond League – the top level international circuit for the sport. It is typically held in May as the first leg of the Diamond League series. It was first organized in 1997 as the Doha Grand Prix as a men's only programme before adding women's events the following year. 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships was held from 4 to 7 March 2021 at the Arena Toruń in Toruń, Poland. This was the second time this event was held in Poland after the 1975 edition in Katowice. The four-day competition featured 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events. Altogether 659 athletes from 46 countries participated in the event which is a record in the competition's history.
