Arle Court Transport Hub
Arle Court Transport Hub (previously known as Arle Court Park and Ride) is a park and ride facility on the outskirts of Cheltenham, England. History From 13 May 2019, drivers have been required to enter their car registration number to receive a parking ticket which must be scanned on a bus service. The change was introduced to prevent people from parking at the facility and walking to nearby businesses, leaving no spaces available for bus users. In March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, route 93 was withdrawn, with route 94 being diverted to serve the facility instead. Later that year, sixty car parking spaces were removed to make room for a construction compound. The compound will be used for the widening of the adjacent A40 road. Facilities The park and ride has parking for both cars and bicycles. Services Stagecoach West took over bus services on 14 May 2018. Previously, it was operated by Bennetts. Gloucester Transport Hub (also known as Gloucester bus station) is a bus station on Station Road in Gloucester, England. History Until 1933, the main type of public transport in Gloucester was the tram. In 1935, after the closure of the tramlines. Gloucestershire Royal Hospital is an acute District General Hospital on the Great Western Road in Gloucester operated by the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. History In 1912, construction on a 149-bed infirmary started on Great Western Road. Patients were transferred to the new building in 1914. The British Red Cross Society took over the west block for nursing war wounded in 1914 and the east block in 1915. The buildings were completed after the war.
