Antonius Ariantho
S. Antonius Budi Ariantho (born 3 October 1973) is a retired Indonesian badminton player who specialized in men's doubles. During the 1990s he shared numerous international titles with his regular partner Denny Kantono including the French (1993); Hong Kong (1993); Denmark (1994); Thailand (1994); Chinese Taipei (1995, 1996); and Indonesia (1996) Opens; and the (now defunct) Badminton World Cup (1996) and World Badminton Grand Prix (1998) events. They were runners-up at the prestigious All-England Open in 1995, and bronze medalists at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. 1996 Olympics Ariantho competed in badminton at the 1996 Summer Olympics in men's doubles, with Denny Kantono, and won a bronze medal. Pekalongan
Pekalongan ( jv, ꦦꦼꦏꦭꦺꦴꦔꦤ꧀) is a city of Central Java, Indonesia. It was formerly the seat of Pekalongan Regency on the northern coast of the province, but is now an independent municipality within the province. The Badminton Asian Cup was an Asian continental championship in the five individual disciplines in badminton. It was held in 1991, 1994, 1995 and 1996. From 1997 a team competition called the Asia Cup followed. All England Open Badminton Championships
The All England Open Badminton Championships is the world's oldest badminton tournament, held annually in England. With the introduction of the BWF's latest grading system, it was given Super Series status in 2007, upgraded to Super Series Premier status in 2011. The world's first open tournament was held in the English town of Guildford in 1898, the success of which paved the way for the All England's inaugural edition, which was held at London's Horticultural Halls in 1899. Although the inaugural edition consisted of just the doubles format, the singles were introduced from the second edition onward. The Indonesia Open ( id, Indonesia Terbuka) in an annual badminton tournament organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) since 1982. The Taipei Open, formerly named the Chinese Taipei Open Grand Prix Gold (2007–2017) and Chinese Taipei Open (2018–2019), is an open badminton international championships held in Taiwan since the 1970s, but they took place only in irregular periods. The Denmark Open, or formerly known as Danish Open, is an annual badminton tournament held in Denmark and organized by Badminton Denmark.
