Antonio Rivera
José Antonio Rivera (December 5, 1963 in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico– April 4, 2005) was a Puerto Rican boxer. He was much better known as El Gallo Rivera or Tonito Rivera, and was a prominent boxer during the decade of the 1980s. Professional career José Antonio Rivera began his professional boxing career on February 26, 1981, after a long and successful amateur boxing career, knocking out Humberto Maldonado in the first round at Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. He posted two more wins in a row, one by knockout, then lost for the first time as a professional, beaten by Herminio Adorno by a decision in five rounds on May 22. Rivera avenged that loss with a first-round knockout of Adorno on July 9, in Trujillo Alto. Río Piedras, Puerto Rico
Río Piedras is a populous district of San Juan, and former town and municipality of Puerto Rico, which was merged with the municipality of San Juan in 1951. The district today is composed of various '' barrios'' (these are the primary legal divisions of municipalities in Puerto Rico) such as Pueblo and Universidad. The historic town was founded in 1714 as El Roble, it was given municipality rights in 1823, and since 1903 it has been the home of the University of Puerto Rico's main campus, earning the popular name of ''Ciudad Universitaria'' (similar to college town) today. Ki-Young Chung
Ki-Young Chung (Hangul: 정기영; born November 23, 1959) is a former professional boxer. During his career, which lasted from 1979 to 1986, Chung won the IBF world featherweight title. Before competing at featherweight, Choung won the Super Bantamweight title of South Korea 1982. He also won the Korean title as a featherweight, along with the OPBF title. His first challenge for a world title came on November 29, 1985 against fellow South Korean Min-Keun Oh. Chung won the fight with a technical knockout in the fifteenth round to become champion. He defended his title twice; knocking out Tyrone Jackson and beating Richard Savage with a unanimous decision. Victor Callejas (born November 12, 1960) is a Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican former boxing, boxer who was world Junior Featherweight champion. Early history Callejas compiled a record of 36 wins and 4 defeats as an amateur boxer, and in 1979, he decided to turn professional. That he did on the night of February 18 of that year.
