Anti Social Media is a Danish pop rock band that represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song " The Way You Are". The group consists of Philip Thornhill, Nikolaj Tøth, David Vang and Emil Vissing. Career 2015–present: Eurovision Song Contest In 2015, Anti Social Media was announced as one of the ten competing musicians in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2015 with the song " The Way You Are". On 7 February 2015 Anti Social Media performed the song and won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix to represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Basim (singer)
Anis Basim Moujahid (born 4 July 1992), better known as Basim, is a Danish pop singer and songwriter. He is of Moroccan origin. He has released two albums, '' Alt det jeg ville have sagt'' in 2008 and '' Befri dig selv'' in 2009. Basim represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on home ground in Copenhagen, Denmark with the song " Cliche Love Song". The following year he was the Danish spokesperson at Eurovision. Career 2008: ''The X Factor'' and ''Alt det jeg ville have sagt'' At age of 15, he took part in the 2008 edition of the talent program ''The X Factor'' and reached the quarterfinals before being voted out. Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Soldiers of Love" written by Sebastian F. Ovens, Daniel Lund Jørgensen, Katrine Klith Andersen, Søren Bregendal, Johannes Nymark and Martin Skriver. The song was performed by the group Lighthouse X. Lighthouse X (pronounced "Lighthouse Ten") was a Danish boyband consisting of Søren Bregendal, Johannes Nymark and Martin Skriver. The band was formed in 2012 with the goal of helping people who face challenges in their lives. They work as ambassadors of three different non-profit organizations who also receive a percentage of the groups profit.
