Cliché Love Song
Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Cliche Love Song" written by Lasse Lindorff, Kim Nowak-Zorde, Daniel Fält and Basim. The song was performed by Basim. In addition to participating in the contest, the Danish broadcaster DR also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest after winning the competition in 2013 with the song "Only Teardrops" performed by Emmelie de Forest. DR organised the national final ''Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2014'' in order to select the Danish entry for the 2014 contest in Copenhagen. Ten songs competed in a televised show where "Cliche Love Song" performed by Basim was the winner as decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting over two rounds. As the host country, Denmark qualified to compete directly in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Denmark's running order position was determined by draw. Basim (singer)
Anis Basim Moujahid (born 4 July 1992), better known as Basim, is a Danish pop singer and songwriter. He is of Moroccan origin. He has released two albums, '' Alt det jeg ville have sagt'' in 2008 and '' Befri dig selv'' in 2009. Basim represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on home ground in Copenhagen, Denmark with the song " Cliche Love Song". The following year he was the Danish spokesperson at Eurovision. Michael Rune
Michael Rune is a Danish saxophonist and club act. Beginnings Michael Rune studied music in Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium music school in 2006. His debut single "Min indre stemme" featuring Nadia Gattas was produced by Darwich and saxophone Aldi melodies by Michael. It became a Danish club hit in 2011. Anna David (born 2 December 1984) is a Danish R&B and soul singer. At the age of fourteen she got her first recording contract in Germany where she released five singles.
