''Amy'' is an original motion picture soundtrack to the 2015 film of the same name. It was released by Island Records on 30 October 2015. It is also the second posthumous compilation album by English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse (the subject of the film). It features unreleased songs and demos that were included in the documentary and also features music by Brazilian composer Antônio Pinto. The soundtrack peaked at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart. Background On 8 October 2015, it was announced by Island Records that the original soundtrack for ''Amy'' would be released on 30 October 2015. On 26 October 2015, a two-minute sampler of the soundtrack was released on Facebook and Twitter. Antônio Pinto (composer)
Antônio Alves Pinto (born 1967) is a Brazilian film score composer. He is the son of the famous cartoonist Ziraldo and the brother of the film-maker Daniela Thomas. His work earned him a World Soundtrack Award and an ASCAP award, as well as a nomination in the Best Original Song category at the 65th Golden Globe Awards for writing the song " Despedida" with Shakira. He composed the soundtrack to ''The Mosquito Coast'' and played the key instruments. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. The Zutons
The Zutons are an English indie rock band, formed in 2001 in Liverpool. The band are currently composed of singer, songwriter and guitarist Dave McCabe, drummer Sean Payne and saxophonist Abi Harding. They released their debut album, '' Who Killed......
