Amager ( or, especially among older speakers, ) in the Øresund is Denmark's most densely populated island, with more than 212,000 inhabitants (January 2021) a small appendage to Zealand. The protected natural area of ''Naturpark Amager'' (including Kalvebod Fælled) makes up more than one-third of the island's total area of 96 km2. Vestamager most often refers to Kalvebod Fælled, but is also the name of one of the 15 administrative, statistical, and tax city districts (''bydele'') comprising the municipality of Copenhagen, Denmark. It lies on the south border of the municipality on the island of Amager. The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. Denmark Series
The Denmark Series ( da, Danmarksserien) is the fifth tier in the Danish football league system. Teams are divided into four groups of ten. The top team in each group is promoted to the Danish 3rd Division. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to the regional Copenhagen Series, Zealand Series, Lolland-Falster Series, Funen Series, or Jutland Series as is appropriate for each club geographically. Clubs in the Denmark Series are participants in the Danish Cup tournament. The reserve teams of top-flight Danish Superliga and second-tier Danish 1st Division clubs are allowed to play in the Denmark Series, but 1st Division reserve teams cannot win promotion, as they must stay at least two leagues below their first team squads. TÃ¥rnby Boldklub
Tårnby Boldklub (or Taarnby Boldklub, ) were a Denmark, Danish association football, football club based in Tårnby on Amager, which played their home games at Taarnby Stadium. The club was formed on 21 April 1935 as Arbejdernes Idræts Klub Tårnby (AIK Tårnby) and became member of Dansk Arbejder Idrætsforbund (DAI) on 1 May 1935. After nearly 10 years in DAI, it was decided at a general meeting on 16 January 1944 to change their membership to DBU Copenhagen, Københavns Boldspil-Union (KBU) and in this regard change their name to Tårnby Boldklub. The club became an extraordinary member of KBU on 1 July 1944 and a full member in February 1945 and started their first season 1944–45 under the new football association by playing in a newly created 'C-række' consisting of 8 clubs.
