Alps Tour
The Alps Tour is a developmental professional golf tour for men which is sanctioned by the national golf associations of France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Morocco. Established in 2001, it is a third level tour, the highest level of men's golf in Europe being the European Tour, and the second level being the Challenge Tour. Other third level tours in Europe include the United Kingdom-based PGA EuroPro Tour, the Germany-based Pro Golf Tour, and the Nordic League in the Nordic countries. Beginning in July 2015, the four third-level tours will carry Official World Golf Ranking points. Like the other third-tier European tours, the top ten players on the Order of Merit are exempt through the second stage of European Tour Qualifying School, and the top five win playing privileges on the Challenge Tour. Marco Crespi
Marco Crespi (born 5 November 1978) is an Italian professional golfer. Career Crespi was born in Monza, Italy. He turned professional in 2002. Crespi played on the Challenge Tour in 2006–09 and 2012–13. He was invited to the 2012 Telenet Trophy which he won to earn full membership of the Challenge Tour. He subsequently won the 2013 Mugello Tuscany Open. Crespi earned his 2014 European Tour card via qualifying school on his 11th attempt. He also earned his first European Tour win at the NH Collection Open and is the oldest rookie to win in European Tour history. By 2016, Crespi lost his European Tour card and was playing on the third tier Alps Tour, where he won in 2017. Nino Bertasio
Nino Bertasio (born 30 July 1988) is an Italian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and is currently attached to the Gardagolf Country Club. Professional career After turning professional in 2011, he joined the Alps Tour. His first win on that tour came in 2014 at the Open St. Francois Region Guadeloupe, followed a week later by another win at the Asiago Open; he went on to win the Order of Merit and qualify for the Challenge Tour. In 2015 he comfortably retained his card on the Challenge tour, with his best performance at the Volopa Irish Challenge where he lost in a playoff to Tom Murray. At the end of the year he qualified for the 2016 season on the European Tour via qualifying school. In 2016 Bertasio qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics and finished tied for 30th. Darius Van Driel
Darius Arjen Joel van Driel (born 2 June 1989) is a Dutch professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Amateur career Born in Leidschendam, Netherlands, van Driel took up golf at the age of 11. His junior and amateur career, up to and including 2014, saw him win the Dutch National Strokeplay Championship under-19 (2007) and under-22 (2010). He also won the 2008 Dutch National Strokeplay Championship, which earned him entry to that year's KLM Dutch Open where he missed the cut (+11) but finished as second Dutch amateur player. He was selected as a member of the Dutch team for the European Amateur Team Championship in 2007 and 2010. 2015 Alps Tour
The 2015 Alps Tour was the 15th season of the Alps Tour, one of four third-tier tours recognised by the European Tour. In July, it was announced that all Alps Tour events, beginning with the Alps de Andalucía, would receive Official World Golf Ranking points at the minimum level of 4 points for a winner of a 54-hole event and 6 points for a winner of a 72-hole event. It was the first Alps Tour season in which all events received Official World Golf Ranking points, as OWGR points were introduced midway through the 2015 season. Adrià Arnaus Antúnez (born 17 October 1994) is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2022 Catalunya Championship on the European Tour. Amateur career Arnaus attended Texas A&M University from 2012 to 2016. He had a successful year in 2017, winning the Spanish Amateur Championship and being a member of the Spanish team that won the European Amateur Team Championship. He played on the 2017 Alps Tour as an amateur and won two events, the Villaverde Open and the Alps Tour Grand Final which together with two runner-up finishes meant he led to Order of Merit to earn a place on the Challenge Tour for 2018. Santiago Tarrío
} Santiago Tarrío Ben (born 21 November 1990) is a Spanish professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour where has won twice. Amateur career Tarrío started playing golf at the age of 7 and turned professional at the age of 17. Professional career Tarrío did not start competing internationally until 2016. He had played two events in Spain on the 2015 Alps Tour, missing the cut on each occasion. However he finished 4th at the Alps Tour Qualifying School at the end of 2015, to gain a regular place on the tour for 2016. Tarrío was runner-up in the 72-hole Alps Costa del Sol, three strokes behind Tom Shadbolt, and finished the season 26th on the Order of Merit. He was 19th on the 2017 Order of Merit, finishing a stroke behind James Sharp at the Cervino Open.
