Algimantas Puipa
Algimantas Puipa (born 14 June 1951) is a Lithuanian film director and screenwriter. With more than 70,000 admissions, his directed film '' Whisper of Sin'' was a success in Lithuania. Other successful films include '' Forest of the Gods'' and ''Elze's Life''. Biography Puipa graduated from All–Union State Institute of Cinematography located in Moscow in 1974. He directed his first feature film alongside Stasys Motiejūnas the following year. His first successful film was ''Devil's Seed''; it won the Soviet Film Festival Prize for realistic portrayal of the rural life in the early twentieth century. Antalieptė
Antalieptė () ( pl, Antolepty) is a small town in Zarasai district municipality, near the Duseta–Daugailiai road and the right bank of the Šventoji riverhead. The town is also 4 km from the village of Zabičiūnai. Antalieptė has a secondary school and post office (postode: LT-32013). Anapa (russian: Ана́па, ) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the northern coast of the Black Sea near the Sea of Azov. Population: History The area around Anapa was settled in antiquity. It was originally a major seaport (Sinda) and then the capital of Sindica. The colony of Gorgippia ( el, Γοργιππία) was built on the site of Sinda in the 6th century BCE by Pontic Greeks, who named it after a king of the Cimmerian Bosporus. Whisper Of Sin
Whispering is an unvoiced mode of phonation in which the vocal cords are abducted so that they do not vibrate; air passes between the arytenoid cartilages to create audible turbulence during speech. Supralaryngeal articulation remains the same as in normal speech. In normal speech, the vocal cords alternate between states of voice and voicelessness. In whispering, only the voicing segments change, so that the vocal cords alternate between whisper and voicelessness (though the acoustic difference between the two states is minimal). Because of this, implementing speech recognition for whispered speech is more difficult, as the characteristic spectral range needed to detect syllables and words is not given through the total absence of tone. More advanced techniques such as neural networks may be used, however, as is done by Amazon Alexa.
