Donetsk

Igor Konstantinovich Kunitsyn ( rus, И́горь Константи́нович Куни́цын, , ˈiɡərʲ kʊˈnʲitsɨn; born September 30, 1981) is a retired tennis player from Russia. He made it into the top 100 for the first time in 2006, and reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 35 in July 2009. Early life Kunitsyn was raised by his grandparents in Vladivostok, on the eastern coast of Russia when he was young. He started playing tennis at age seven. Tennis career Kunitsyn is arguably best known for two matches against compatriot Marat Safin. The first of which was at the 2007 Tennis Channel Open's Round-robin tournament, round-robin stage. Kunitsyn had won the first set, and had an early break in the second before Safin fought back and then got a 5–3 lead. Mikhail Filima (born 17 November 1982) is a Ukrainian tennis coach and professional player. Biography Born in Kyiv, Filima was a right-handed player and featured in five Davis Cup ties for Ukraine across 2004 and 2005. His Davis Cup career included a singles win over Jan Frode Andersen, where he came from two sets down to defeat his better ranked Norwegian opponent and secure the tie for Ukraine. Filima played briefly at ATP Challenger level, with his best singles performance a semi-final appearance at Donetsk in 2005. Biography Vlasov, who is originally from Tula, was ranked as high as 11 in the world for singles during his junior career and had wins over future top players including David Nalbandian and Robin Söderling.
