Mikhail Filima
Mikhail Filima (born 17 November 1982) is a Ukrainian tennis coach and professional player. Biography Born in Kyiv, Filima was a right-handed player and featured in five Davis Cup ties for Ukraine across 2004 and 2005. His Davis Cup career included a singles win over Jan Frode Andersen, where he came from two sets down to defeat his better ranked Norwegian opponent and secure the tie for Ukraine. Filima played briefly at ATP Challenger level, with his best singles performance a semi-final appearance at Donetsk in 2005. At the same tournament he partnered with Davis Cup teammate Orest Tereshchuk to win the doubles event. He won a further seven doubles tournament on the ITF circuit. Orest Tereshchuk (born 18 August 1981) is a former professional tennis player from Ukraine. Career Tereshchuk began playing Davis Cup tennis for the Ukrainian national team in 1999. His last appearance in 2007 was his 18th tie for Ukraine, leveling Andrei Medvedev's record. He finished with a 22/10 career record, second only to Medvedev. On the ATP Tour he made doubles appearances in the 2006 Kremlin Cup (partnering Alexey Kedryuk) and the 2007 St. Petersburg Open (partnering Sergiy Stakhovsky) but was unable to progress past the opening round in either. He was however highly successful on the ATP Challenger circuit, winning 11 doubles titles. As a singles player, he had the best win of his career in a Challenger tournament at Dnipropetrovsk in 2003, when he defeated Karol Beck, then ranked 66th in the world. Jan Frode Andersen (born 29 August 1972) is a Norwegian former tennis player. He played tennis for Norway, including competing in at least 60 countries over a span of 8 years after turning professional in 1997. He represented Norway in the Davis Cup for 10 consecutive years compiling a 30-22 record (25-14 in singles). His highest ATP ranking was 135.
