Al Porter
Al Porter (born Alan Kavanagh, 6 January 1993) is an Irish comedian, actor, and radio personality. Career Acting Porter has been acting since he was 10 years old, and has been the headline attraction in the annual Christmas Pantomime in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin since he was in his early 20s. Comedy By the time he was 22 he was also able to sell out Dublin comedy venue Vicar Street for 3 nights as the headline act. In August 2016, while performing at the Edinburgh Festival he was mistakenly described as a "former panto star" by The Guardian. Despite that error The Guardian conceded "the sheer thrill, frankly, of encountering such a steamroller crowd-pleasing talent." the same routine was described by The London Standard as "superslick stand-up". He is currently working again as a comedian after a hiatus caused by allegations of sexual misconduct. St Patrick's University Hospital
St Patrick's University Hospital ( ga, Ospidéal Ollscoile Naomh Pádraig) is a teaching hospital at Kilmainham in Dublin. The building, which is bounded by Steeven's Lane to the east, and Bow Lane West to the south, is managed by St Patrick’s Mental Health Services. History The hospital was founded with money bequeathed by the author, Jonathan Swift, following his death as "St. Patrick's Hospital for Imbeciles". He was keen that his hospital be situated close to a general hospital because of the links between physical and mental ill-health, so St. Patrick's was built beside Dr Steevens' Hospital. The hospital, which was designed by George Semple, opened in 1747. ''The Irish Times'' is an Irish daily broadsheet newspaper and online digital publication. It launched on 29 March 1859. The editor is Ruadhán Mac Cormaic. It is published every day except Sundays. Camden Street ( ga, Sráid Camden) is a street in Dublin 2. It links Ranelagh/Rathmines ( Dublin 6) to the southern city centre of Dublin. It is divided into Camden Street Upper (southern end) and Camden Street Lower (northern end). History The name is likely derived from the Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden (1714-94). The fact that the street name first appears on maps in 1778 would rule it out as originating from his son John Pratt, Marquess Camden (1759-1840) who became Lord Lieutenent of Ireland in 1795.
