Aggabai Sasubai
''Aggabai Sasubai'' was a 2019 Indian Marathi language, Marathi Romance film, romance-Drama (film and television), drama television series directed by Ajay Mayekar and produced by Sunil Bhosale. The series is about Asavari Kulkarni (played by Nivedita Joshi-Saraf), a middle-aged widow and single mother whose daughter in law Shubhra (played by Tejashri Pradhan) tries to get her remarried to Abhijeet Raje (played by Girish Oak), a popular chef. ''Aggabai Sasubai'' became much popular and had a sequel titled ''Aggabai Sunbai'' which was aired from 15 March to 21 August 2021 and starred actors Adwait Dadarkar and Uma Pendharkar for the roles of ''Soham'' and ''Shubhra'' respectively. Tejashri Pradhan
Tejashri Pradhan (born 2 June 1988) is an Indian television and film actress who has appeared in multiple Marathi films and television serials. She is better known as ''Shubhra'' and ''Janhvi'' from the Zee Marathi television serials ''Aggabai Sasubai (2019)'' and '' Honar Sun Mi Hya Gharchi (2013)'', respectively. Pradhan also did voice-overs for a mobile application named Go-stories which features various Marathi stories. She has also appeared in a YouTube video Uncomfortable and been a speaker at TED Talks. Early life Pradhan was born on 2 June 1988 in a middle class Maharashtrian CKP family. She belongs to the suburb of Dombivli near Mumbai.
