Adriatic Basketball Supercup
The ABA League Supercup, also credited as ABA Super Cup, is an annual men's professional basketball supercup competition between teams from the ABA League. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition, that is contested between teams from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. History The ABA League Assembly, held on July 24, 2017, in Belgrade, Serbia, decided to organize the ABA League Supercup, with 8 participants. In 2017, the first edition of the ABA Super Cup took place in Bar, Montenegro, where Cedevita became champions. In the second season, the teams met in Laktaši, where Crvena zvezda became champions. The third ABA Super Cup took place in Zagreb in 2019 and was won by Partizan. Teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia previously played in a similar competition, when they were part of SFR Yugoslavia. Adriatic Basketball Association – ABA League, G.P., commonly referred to as the ABA League JTD, is a Croatian company based in Zagreb. It is the general partnership for organizing sports competitions. The company has been running the Adriatic League since the 2015–16 season. COVID-19 Pandemic In Montenegro
The COVID-19 pandemic in Montenegro has resulted in confirmed cases of COVID-19 and deaths. The first case of the disease in Montenegro was confirmed on 17 March 2020, making it the last European country to register a case of SARS-CoV-2. On 24 May 2020, 68 days after the first case was recorded in Montenegro, it became the first COVID-19-free country in Europe. Within the first outbreak, indexed cases counted 9% of the total reported, 80% of cases were infected due to contact with primary cases, while the origin of infection of the other 11% of cases was not certain. The Yugoslav Basketball Cup ( sh, Kup Jugoslavije u košarci / ) was the men's national basketball cup of Yugoslavia between its inauguration 1959 and 2002. It was held in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1959 and 1991 and in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1992 and 2002. In 2002, FR Yugoslavia changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro while the cup got renamed to the Radivoj Korać Cup.
