Adel Nasser
Adel Nasser Shakroun ( ar, عادل ناصر شكرون ; born 1970) is a coach and former international Iraqi football (soccer), football player, he played as a midfielder, he is currently working as a coach for Naft Al-Janoob club. Adel is the older brother of former international player Mohammed Nasser Shakroun. Coaching career Nasser is now leading Naft Al-Junoob SC in 2018-2019 season. He started coaching the basra team from 19 January 2017. Basra
Basra ( ar, ٱلْبَصْرَة, al-Baṣrah) is an Iraqi city located on the Shatt al-Arab. It had an estimated population of 1.4 million in 2018. Basra is also Iraq's main port, although it does not have deep water access, which is handled at the port of Umm Qasr. However, there is ongoing constuction of Grand Faw Port on the coast of Basra, which is considered a national project for Iraq and will become one of the largest ports in the world and the largest in the Middle East, in addition, the port will strengthen Iraq’s geopolitical position in the region and the world. Their football team compete in the Iraqi Premier League, the top-flight of Iraqi football. Al-Zawraa are the most decorated club in Iraq having won 14 Premier League titles, 16 Iraq FA Cups and 5 Iraqi Super Cups, all national records. It is one of the most popular clubs in Iraq, particularly in the south, and became the first club outside Baghdad to win the Iraqi Premier League. Al-Minaa was founded on November 22, 1931, in Al-Maqal.
