Adam Gawlas
Adam Gawlas (born 18 February 2002) is a Czech professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Gawlas qualified for his first PDC European Tour tournament in mid-2019, when he qualified for the 2019 Austrian Darts Championship, and he defeated Ross Smith in the first round, before losing to eventual champion Mensur Suljović in the second round. He finished third in the JDC World Cup with the Czech junior team. Gawlas also achieved another third place finish with the Czech junior team, this time the European Youth Cup. He then made it to the 2019 JDC World Championship final, where he beating Justin Hewitt 5–3 and who lost to Keane Barry 3-5. Gawlas also played in the final of the 2019 PDC World Youth Championship, but he lost to Luke Humphries 6-0. The result qualified him for 2020 Grand Slam of Darts. 2019 PDC World Youth Championship
The 2019 PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship was the ninth edition of the PDC World Youth Championship, a tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation for darts players aged between 16 and 23. The group stage and knock-out phase from the last 32 to the semi-finals were played at Robin Park Centre, Wigan, on 4 November 2019. The final took place on 24 November 2019 at Butlin's Minehead, before the final of the 2019 Players Championship Finals. Belgium's Dimitri Van den Bergh was the two-time defending champion after defeating Martin Schindler of Germany 6–3 in the 2018 final, but he was unable to defend his title, as he was over the age limit. The 2022 Cazoo World Cup of Darts was the twelfth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place from 16–19 June 2022 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The 2020 BetVictor World Cup of Darts was the tenth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place behind closed doors from 6–8 November 2020 at the Salzburgarena in Salzburg, Austria. The event was originally due to be held between 18–21 June 2020 at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany, but was postponed and relocated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Grand Slam of Darts is a darts tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation and is known as the Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts for sponsorship purposes. The PDC also invited the best performing players from its rival, the British Darts Organisation. There have been two previous head-to-head matches between the champions of the two organisations and a few overseas tournaments have also featured BDO v PDC clashes, but this tournament is the first of its kind to be held in the United Kingdom. This arrangement lasted until the BDO's collapse into liquidation in 2020 and it is unclear whether any other organisation will be invited in future. The Cazoo UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held annually at the Butlins Minehead Resort by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in England. Often referred to as the "FA Cup of darts", the UK Open replicates the abolition of seedings, elimination play, and fixtures determined via open draw. Ryan Searle (born 21 October 1987) is an English professional darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career He reached the last 16 of the 2013 BDO World Masters after a controversial win over Richie George, when his winning dart at double 10 did not actually hit the target, but referee Nick Rolls called 'game shot', ending the leg and giving Searle the match. Richard Mark "Richie" Burnett (born 7 February 1967), nicknamed Prince of Wales, is a Welsh professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is a former World No. 1 who won the 1995 Embassy World Darts Championship. Burnett is known for coming on to "Dakota" and dancing on stage.
