Action Express Racing (AXR) is a sports car racing team that currently competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team is owned by NASCAR CEO Jim France and run by Bob Johnson and former NASCAR champion crew chief Gary Nelson. Darren Law
Darren Law (born April 4, 1968) is a Canadian-born American racing driver. At age 14 Law was the International Kart Federation national champion, and shortly thereafter began racing cars in various amateur classes on the west coast of the United States. In 1991 he was a factory driver for Elden Racing Cars' factory team in Formula Renault competition. In 1996 and 1997 he competed in the North American Touring Car Championship for the privateer Hartong Motorsports BMW outfit and finished 8th in points in the series' two years of operation. In 1999 he made a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at Heartland Park Topeka, but crashed 34 laps in. Virginia International Raceway (commonly known as "VIR") is a race track located in Alton, Virginia, near Danville. It is less than a half-mile from the North Carolina/Virginia border just outside Milton, North Carolina, on the banks of the Dan River. VIR hosts amateur and professional automobile and motorcycle events, driving schools, club days, and private test rentals. The Porsche Cayenne is a series of mid-size luxury crossover sport utility vehicles manufactured by the German automaker Porsche since 2002 (Type 9PA or E1), with North American sales beginning in 2003. Ryan Dalziel ( ; born 12 April 1982), is a Scottish professional racing driver. Dalziel has seen the most success in his career in the United States, racing in the American Le Mans Series GT1 class and the Champ Car World Series, and winning the 2010 24 Hours of Daytona. Terry Borcheller (born March 22, 1966, in Hialeah, Florida) is an American professional racing driver who races in the Grand American Road Racing Association Rolex Sports Car Series and American Le Mans Series. As a teenager, Borcheller was the World Karting Association national champion in 1983. He began his professional career in the Barber Saab Pro Series in 1991. In 1998 he won the IMSA Speedvision cup in the GS class and the SPEED World Challenge T-1 class championship in a Saleen Mustang. In 2000 he captured the Rolex Sports Car Series GTO class championship in a Saleen Mustang. The following year he drove a Saleen S7R in the American Le Mans Series and won the GTS class championship. João Barbosa
João Barbosa (born 11 March 1975 in Porto, Portugal) is a Portuguese auto racing driver. He currently competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for Sean Creech Motorsport in the LMP3 class. Before the 2021 Six Hours of the Glen, Barbosa's teammate, Lance Willey, left Sean Creech Motorsport, forfeiting their entry in the race. He was runner-up in the GTS class of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series in 2003 and fifth in the DP class in 2008, accumulating a total of seven overall victories. The 2010 Rolex 24 at Daytona was the 48th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona and was the first round of the 2010 Rolex Sports Car Series season. It took place between January 30–31, 2010. Rule changes *With the increased field size for the 24 Hours of Daytona as compared to other events in the season, some full-time teams had expressed concern that a poor finish in the race could be a serious detriment in their pursuit of the points championship. In response, the sanctioning body decided to place a minimum on the points a driver/team will receive in the race.
