"Abrázame Muy Fuerte" (''Hug Me Tightly'') is a song written and performed by Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel. The song was produced and arranged by Bebu Silvetti and it was released as the second single from the album of the same title. The track became Gabriel's seventh number-one single in the ''Billboard'' Top Latin Songs chart. The parent album became commercially successful, peaking at number two in the Top Latin Albums chart in the United States. The singer also received a nomination for Best Latin Pop Album at the 44th Grammy Awards for this release. Gabriel received three Billboard Latin Music Awards for the song, which was used as the main theme for the Mexican telenovela '' Abrázame Muy Fuerte'', starring Victoria Ruffo, Aracely Arámbula and Fernando Colunga. The year-end charts for the Hot Latin Songs chart are published in the last issue of ''Billboard'' magazine every year. Initially, the chart was based on information provided by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems, which collected airplay information from Latin radio stations in the United States. MDO (band)
MDO is a Latin American pop/ rock band, spun off in 1997 from the Latin American boy band once known as Menudo. The group's first line-up reunited for an international tour in 2015. Band history In the mid-1990s, Edgardo Diaz, Menudo's creator and director, sold the rights for the trademarked name Menudo to a Panamanian company. After the release and promotion of Menudo's album '' Tiempo De Amar'' in 1996, the remaining line-up formed MDO under the direction and production of Diaz at first. The members at the time were Abel Talamántez, Alexis Grullón, Anthony Galindo, Didier Hernández and Daniel René. Together they recorded the album '' MDO'' in 1997 (Gold Record).
