Azman Adnan
Azman Adnan (born on 1 November 1971) is a former Malaysian footballer. He is also a former member of the Malaysian pre-Olympic team and also the Malaysian national team scoring 17 international goals in 52 appearances. He also played for Malaysia national futsal team, and was in the squad that took part in the 1996 FIFA Futsal World Championship in Spain. He previously won the Malaysia Premier League 1 Golden Boots as he scored 13 goals for Penang FA in 1999. He is a former head coach for PDRM FA. He is an avid Selangor FA fan since he was a child. His father was a soldier from Kajang, Selangor and his mother are from Pedas, Negeri Sembilan. During 1993-1998, he partnered with Rusdi Suparman in front as they became the formidable striker duo for Selangor FA. He was a Selangor FA legend after he spent a long time playing with them. Malacca
Malacca ( ms, Melaka) is a state in Malaysia located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Strait of Malacca. Merdeka Tournament or Pestabola Merdeka is a friendly football tournament held in Malaysia to commemorate the Independence Day. The competition bears the Malay word for independence. As of 2022, it has been held 40 times, and decreasingly in recent decades. Matches in Merdeka tournament considered International "A" matches (Friendly match) by FIFA. Its final has been mainly held at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. Liga Semi-Pro Divisyen 2 ( en, Semi-Pro League Division 2) was a second-tier semi-pro football league in Malaysia that operated from 1989 until 1993. The league was managed by Football Association of Malaysia. Liga Semi-Pro was official established in 1989 as a semi-pro league competition for football team in Malaysia to qualify for Piala Malaysia. Mokhtar Dahari
Dato' Mohd Mokhtar bin Dahari (13 November 1953 – 11 July 1991) was a Malaysian football player from Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, he played for F.A. Selangor for most of his life. He is considered a legendary footballer in Malaysian football history, especially with F.A. Selangor. A prolific forward, he was nicknamed Supermokh due to his playing skills and strength. He scored 89 goals in 142 full international matches for Malaysia, and helped the team reach its highest ever Elo ranking of 61 in 1977. The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season.
