Avanti Racing Team
Bennelong SwissWellness Cycling Team p/b Cervelo () was an Australian UCI Continental cycling team focusing on road bicycle racing. Based in Tasmania since its establishment in 2000, the team's original title sponsor was a Tasmanian restaurant chain, Praties, but Genesys Wealth Advisers, an Australian financial planning network, has taken over this role in 2010. The team was founded by Andrew Christie-Johnson and Steve Price. In 2014 team was the top ranked team in Australia's National Road Series (NRS). It has competed overseas in the Tour of Qinghai Lake (2.HC), Tour de Taiwan (2.2) and the Herald Sun Tour (2.1). The team was invited to compete in the Team Time Trial of the 2013 UCI Road World Championships as the Oceania representative. For the 2016 season the team secured the sponsorship of sports nutrition company, IsoWhey Sports. Avanti Bikes is a company originating from New Zealand and now distributes bicycles to many countries within Oceania, Asia and Europe. Avanti put its first bicycle into the New Zealand market in 1985 and since then has built its range to 100+ models catering for all areas of cycling from kids bikes right through to Olympic bikes. Alexander Porter (born 13 May 1996) is an Australian professional racing cyclist. Porter qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and was part of the Men's team pursuit together with Kelland O'Brien, Sam Weisford and Leigh Howard. They secured a bronze medal after overlapping New Zealand who had crashed. Porter also competed in the Men's Madison where the team finished fifth with a time of 3:48.448 and therefore did not qualify for the final.
