Aurélien Paret-Peintre (; born 27 February 1996 in Annemasse) is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Giro d'Italia. His brother Valentin Paret-Peintre, Valentin is also a professional cyclist. 2022 Paris–Nice
The 2022 Paris–Nice was a road cycling stage race that took place between 6 and 13 March 2022 in France. It was the 80th edition of Paris–Nice and the fourth race of the 2022 UCI World Tour. Teams All 18 UCI WorldTeams and four UCI ProTeams made up the 22 teams that participated in the race. Each team entered a full squad of seven riders, for a total of 154 riders who started the race. A wave of flu-like symptoms, although with no positive COVID-19 test results, resulted in an unusually high attrition rate as many riders were forced to withdraw from the race. A total of 37 riders withdrew before the final stage or abandoned during the stage, as most of them were not in contention for any of the final classifications. As a result, only 59 riders finished the race, which was the fewest amount since the 1985 edition. 2021 Tre Valli Varesine
The 2021 Tre Valli Varesine was the 100th edition of the Tre Valli Varesine road cycling one day race, which was held in the Lombardy region of northwestern Italy on 5 October 2021. This edition was the race's first in the UCI ProSeries; the 2020 edition was expected to feature in the inaugural UCI ProSeries but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The race was the second of the 2021 Trittico Lombardo, which also included the Coppa Bernocchi held the day before and the Coppa Ugo Agostoni, to be held six days later. The race began in Busto Arsizio, with the first of the race heading north and entering midway through the short circuit in and around Varese. After climbing the Casbeno hill, which crested with just under a kilometre from the finish line, riders passed through the finish line for the first time. The 2021 Faun-Ardèche Classic was the 21st edition of the Faun-Ardèche Classic cycle race. The category 1.Pro race was held on 27 February 2021 as a part of the 2021 UCI Europe Tour and the 2021 UCI ProSeries. The race started and finished in Guilherand-Granges, and featured five climbs, including a triple ascent of the short but steep Côte du Val d'Enfer, the last of which was in the final ten kilometers. It formed a pair of races on the same weekend with the 2021 Royal Bernard Drôme Classic, held on the following day, with both races being organized by Boucles Drôme Ardèche. 2021 Grand Prix La Marseillaise
The 2021 Grand Prix La Marseillaise was the 42nd edition of the Grand Prix La Marseillaise cycle race. It was held on 31 January 2021 as a category 1.1 race on the 2021 UCI Europe Tour and the first event of the 2021 French Road Cycling Cup. The 171-kilometer route started and finished in Marseille and featured several climbs, notably the Route des Crêtes and the in the last 30 kilometers. Defending champion Benoît Cosnefroy of suffered a knee injury in training in mid-January and was forced to miss the race, but his teammate and French compatriot Aurélien Paret-Peintre won the race. The peloton was reduced to a small group of around 30 riders at the finish, and in the ensuing bunch sprint, Paret-Peintre, not generally known for his sprinting prowess, narrowly beat sprinters Thomas Boudat and Bryan Coquard in a photo finish.
