Audiotricz
Audiotricz are a duo from Nunspeet, Netherlands, consisting of Kenneth Kroes (20/01/1990) and Leon Benschop (27/12/1990) who perform and produce music together within the Hardstyle genre. History Leon and Kenneth have known each other since they were young children as they grew up as friends and began producing Hardstyle together in 2013. Both Leon and Kenneth had a background in sound design in other genres prior to becoming a duo and producing hardstyle. On 28 June 2013, Audiotricz signed to Dutch hardstyle record label Scantraxx Recordz and celebrated with their first release "We Are Audiotricz EP" which featured three tracks: "Dance No More" with Atmozfears, "Don't Hold Back" and "Dreamliner". Atmozfears
Tim van de Stadt, known his stage name Atmozfears, is a Dutch hardstyle artist. Atmozfears was previously a trio, consisting of Tim, Kevin Keiser and Michael Jessen, formed in 2009. By the end of 2012, Jessen had left the group. In February 2012, Atmozfears joined the hardstyle label Scantraxx Records. Atmozfears has played at such festivals as Defqon.1, The Qontinent, Q-Base and Tomorrowland. On July 1, 2013, Scantraxx announced that Tim and Kevin had gone separate ways. Tim kept the "Atmozfears" synonym, while Kevin would end up becoming another hardstyle producer called Infrno. In 2017, Tim collaborated with Hardwell on the '' Hardwell & Friends Vol.1'' EP on a song called "All That We Are Living For" featuring M.Bronx. In 2018, Atmozfears produced the main anthem for the Q-Base Festival, commemorating its 15th and last edition. The Prophet (musician)
Dov Joseph Elkabas (born 5 November 1968), known professionally as DJ The Prophet, is an Israeli-Dutch hardcore techno and hardstyle DJ and producer. The Prophet is also the owner of one of the largest hardstyle record labels, Scantraxx. Biography The Prophet started his career as a DJ in 1983 after he discovered turntables at a disco in Amsterdam. He was working in a hotel at the time, and performing as DJ on the side. He was asked to choose, and made the choice to DJ full-time. He started spinning hip hop music before a switch to house in 1988. About three years later, he set up a team of DJs known as "The Dreamteam", together with DJ Dano, Buzz Fuzz and Gizmo. The team was a huge success in the gabber scene. Wildstylez
Joram Metekohy (born 7 January 1983), better known by his stage name Wildstylez, is a Dutch hardstyle DJ and record producer. Having previously released hardstyle records under the alias 'Seizure', Joram Metekohy had his first solo release as Wildstylez in 2007 on the Scantraxx sub-label Scantraxx Reloaded. In 2010 he started the record label 'Digital:Age' in collaboration with Noisecontrollers. After he stopped releasing on 'Digital:Age', and its subsequent collapse, Wildstylez had a string of releases on Q-Dance Records and also released many tracks for free via social media. In 2013, Wildstylez founded his own Hardstyle label, 'Lose Control Music', under the parent label 'Be Yourself Music'. Hardstyle
Hardstyle is an electronic dance genre that emerged in the late 1990s, with origins in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. Hardstyle mixes influences from techno, new beat and hardcore. Early hardstyle was typically written at 140 BPM (''beats per minute''), however modern hardstyle is faster, produced around 150 BPM. It consisted of overdriven and hard-sounding kick drums, often accompanied by an offbeat bass, known as a "reverse bass". As the genre grew, the production techniques and songwriting changed to be suited to a more commercial audience. Modern hardstyle can be recognized by its use of synthesizer melodies and distorted sounds, coupled with hardstyle's signature combination of percussion and bass. The genre is particularly known for its harmonic use of kickdrums. Revealed Recordings (or shortened to Revealed, stylized as revealed) is a Dutch record label established by Hardwell in 2010. The label is headquartered in Breda, Netherlands. History The label was established on 11 April 2010 by electronic music producer and DJ Hardwell. Revealed mainly focuses on big room house, dance-pop, and electro house. The label has had some success, including "Apollo" by Hardwell featuring Amba Shepherd, which peaked on No. 26 of the Dutch Top 40; Hardwell's 2014 single "Dare You" was also successful, entering the UK Singles Chart at No. 18. Cristiano Giusberti (born December 19, 1970), known by his primary stage name Technoboy, is an Italian hardstyle DJ and producer from Bologna. Technoboy is a DJ and producer, who started out by playing vinyl in 1992. The genre he primarily plays is Hardstyle. Cristiano's not only busy DJing, most of the time he's managing as well as producing for 'The Saifam Group' (Italy) which is a reputable record company. He began in 1992 as A&R manager at 'RECORD 66 Music Market for DJs', which he still manages today. Noisecontrollers
Bas Oskam, better known by his stage name Noisecontrollers, is a Dutch DJ and hardstyle music producer based in Veenendaal, Netherlands. Noisecontrollers was formerly a duo before Arjan Terpstra left the project in 2013, prompting Oskam to continue as a solo act. They are regarded as one of the pioneers of hardstyle music. Since leaving the project, Terpstra has been producing music using the stage name Bloqshot, focusing on different musical styles. Career Noisecontrollers produces melodious hardstyle sound. Defqon
Defqon.1 Weekend Festival is an annual music festival held in the Netherlands. In the past, it was also held in Chile and Australia. Founded in 2003 by festival organizer Q-dance, the festival plays mostly hardstyle and related genres such as hardcore, early and classic. Events The festival was previously held in mid-June on Almeerderstrand in Almere. Since 2011, it is hosted on the event site next to Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen. Since 2009, the event has also been hosted in Sydney in mid-September, at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. Until 2011 (2014 for the Australian edition) the festival ran for 12 hours, from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, and ended with a firework display. Since 2012, the festival was extended to three days. Heineken Music Hall
AFAS Live (formerly known as the Heineken Music Hall) is a concert hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands, near the Johan Cruyff Arena. The big hall, named "Black Box" has a capacity of 6,000 and is 3000 m2; a smaller hall for after parties (Beat Box) has a capacity of 700.
