Atomik Harmonik
Atomik Harmonik is a pop-folk music group from Kamnik, Slovenia. Their debut single "Brizgalna Brizga" stayed at #1 in the Slovenian pop charts for several months. Their other hits include "Hop Marinka", " Na seniku", "Od hr'ma do hr'ma", and their European hit " Turbo Polka", which hit the charts in Germany and Austria, bringing the group fame across Europe. Turbo Angels
Turbo Angels are a Slovenian turbo-folk quartet. Menart Records published their premier single, ''Naj se dviga'', in 2005, and their debut album, ''Mi smo za…'', in June 2006. Dejan Bojanec replaced Dejan Gorenjec Raj as the band's diatonic accordion player in 2006, shortly before the release of ''Mi smo za…'', which they had already recorded with Raj. Raj (age 24 at the time of his announcement) left Turbo Angels in March 2006, citing medical problems. Traktor Polka
Traktor is DJ software developed by Native Instruments. It is also used as a sub-brand for Native Instruments' associated DJ hardware products. History Traktor was first released in 2000. The initial versions available were ''Traktor DJ'' and ''Traktor Studio'', with Studio being the version with the most functionality. Version 2 of the software (known as ''Traktor DJ Studio 2'') was released in 2002. The new features included scratch macros and expanded looping, MIDI, and cue point functionality. ''Brizgaaaaj!'' was the debut album of Slovenian pop folk band Atomik Harmonik. The lead single, "Brizgalna brizga", was a summer hit in Slovenia in the summer of 2004, and the album was released the following November. It was the number one album in Slovenia for 16 weeks. In 2005 the band released a second single, "Na seniku". On 15 November 2005, Menart Records reissued the album as an enhanced CD. The reissue, called ''Brizgaaaaj! Še več in dlje!'', included a new single called "Turbo Polka", music videos for all three singles, and two additional remixes. "Turbo Polka" is an English-language version of "Brizgalna brizga" intended for an international market. It reached number 34 in the German record charts, and peaked at number 64 in Austria. "Brizgalna Brizga" was Atomik Harmonik's first hit. The song brought the band the ''Melodije morja in sonca'' televote award. It continued on to become the biggest summer hit in Slovenia in 2004. In 2005 they later released a remixed version sung in English known as "Turbo Polka", with a Portuguese-language cover version known as "Festa Louca" performed by Brazilian band Os Montanari following in 2013. Turbo Polka is a 2005 single by Slovenian group Atomik Harmonik. The song is a remixed version of their first hit "Brizgalna Brizga "Brizgalna Brizga" was Atomik Harmonik's first hit. Pop-folk
Turbo-folk (sometimes referred as pop-folk or popular folk) is subgenre of contemporary pop music with its origins in Serbia, that initially developed during the 1980s and 1990s, with similar music styles in Bulgaria (chalga), Romania (manele) and Albania (tallava). It is a fusion genre of popular music, blending Serbian folk music with other genres: such as pop, rock, electronic and some hip-hop.
