Asta Hansen
Asta Hansen (20 December 1914 – 21 October 1962) was a Danish stage and film actress. Asta Betty Hansen was born in Store Magleby to Grete Sofie (née Lundqvist) and Arthur Jørgen Hansen. She first acted in pantomimes and then in 1934 appeared at the Folketeatret, Copenhagen. She subsequently appeared in many revues and operettas but her career became less busy in the 1950s. She was married to Gottfred Havsteen who was also her manager. Store Magleby
Store Magleby is a Danish town, seat with Dragør of the Dragør Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden. Its population in 2009 was 2,000. History Traces of an early Iron Age settlement from about the year 200 AD have been found just south east of Store Magleby Church. In 1521 Christian II invited Dutch-speaking families (from especially Nieuwpoort and Mechelen in present-day Belgium) to settle in the parish and grow vegetables. On arrival they received existing farms. It is used to be thought that they came from Waterland, but nowadays it is believed the origins of at least some of the settlers lay elsewhere in the present-day Netherlands or even Flanders. Dutch continued in use in the village until the early 19th century, and it is still colloquially named Hollænderbyen ('Dutch town'). The girls have, as usual, discussed the problem with men, and Oda, a beautiful girl, full of sex appeal, claims that Mette, who by the way is an excellent chairman of the Kordamers' organization, is completely devoid of "oomph" and does not exercise any attraction to men. Emanuel Gregers
Emanuel Gregers (28 December 1881 – 22 March 1957) was a Danish actor, screenwriter and film director. Gregers made 36 films during a career which extended over four decades from the Danish golden age of silent film until 1949. Critics often dismissed his work as dependable yet uninspired, however many of his light-hearted comedies achieved great popularity in Denmark. Gregers most notable films were romantic comedies starring his wives Bodil Ipsen and Marguerite Viby. Career Emanuel Gregers was born on 28 December 1881 in Horsens, Denmark. At the age of 16 years Gregers debuted at the Horsens summer theater and performed in local theaters for the next 10 years. Around 1909, he moved to Copenhagen and performed in the larger theaters including Norrebros Teater and the Betty Nansen Teatret.
