Ashwin Kakumanu
Ashwin Kakumanu is an Indian actor, who is best known for his role as Ganeshan in Venkat Prabhu's ''Mankatha''. Career Ashwin initially auditioned for a role in ''Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa''. The director, Gautham Vasudev Menon, was close to giving him the role, but Ashwin was noticed by the assistant directors of the film and who recommended him for the role of Arjun, the boyfriend of Sameera Reddy's character in Nadunisi Naaygal. Ashwin Kakumanu later featured in Venkat Prabhu's ''Mankatha'' alongside Ajith Kumar, Arjun Sarja and Vaibhav Reddy. Ashwin appeared as a local Dharavi police officer, replacing Ganesh Venkatraman who had pulled out of the film. Ashwin next played a young scientist in A. R. Ekk Deewana Tha
''Ekk Deewana Tha'' () is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, featuring Prateik Babbar, Amy Jackson (her Hindi debut), and Manu Rishi in lead roles. The film is a remake of Menon's own 2010 bilingual film ''Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa'' (Tamil) / ''Ye Maaya Chesave'' (Telugu). It features reused soundtrack and film score composed by A. R. ''Biriyani'' is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language black comedy action thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Produced by Studio Green, it stars Karthi and Hansika Motwani alongside an ensemble cast including Premji, Nassar, Ramki, Sampath Raj, Madhumitha, Jayaprakash, Prem, and Mandy Takhar. Uttama was a Chola Emperor who ruled from 973 CE to 985 CE in present-day Tamil Nadu, India. According to Tiruvalangadu plates of Rajendra Chola, Madurantaka Uttama Chola's reign is placed after Aditya II.
