Ashmita Chaliha
Ashmita Chaliha (born 18 October 1999) is an Indian badminton player. Born and brought up in Guwahati, she began playing badminton at the age of seven, and trained at the Assam Badminton Academy under Indonesian coach Edwin Iriawan and India’s Suranjan Bhobora, she was also coached by Pullela Gopichand for the asian games. Chaliha was part of the national junior team that competed at the 2017 World and Asian Junior Championships. She has been selected to be part of the Indian team for the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. Chaliha won her first senior international title at the 2018 Dubai International Challenge in the women's singles event. She was the gold medalists at the 2019 South Asian Games in the women's singles and team events. Badminton At The 2018 Asian Games – Women's Team
The badminton women's team tournament at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta took place from 19 to 22 August at Istora Gelora Bung Karno. The draw for the team event was held on 16 August. China team was the reigning champion after winning the gold medal in Incheon and Japan led the seeding. Mongolia withdrew from this event. Japan won the gold medal defeating second seed China 3–1 in the final, Indonesia and Thailand shared the bronze medal after losing in the semi-finals. Putri Kusuma Wardani (born 20 July 2002) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Exist Jakarta club. Career Trained in Exist Jakarta club, Wardani joined the Indonesia national training center in 2018. In the national tournament, she was part of the Exist team that won the 2018 Superliga Junior. She was selected to join national team squad to compete at the 2018 Asian and World Junior Championships, and secured bronze medals in both tournaments. Kirsty Gilmour (born 21 September 1993) is a Scottish badminton player who has represented both Scotland and Great Britain. The 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships (also known as the 2022 Selangor Badminton Asia Team Championship) was held at the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, from 15 to 20 February 2022. Malvika Bansod (born 15 September 2001) is an Indian badminton player from Nagpur, Maharashtra. She has won international titles such as the Maldives and Nepal International in 2019.
