Artur Davtyan
Artur Davtyan ( hy, Արթուր Դավթյան, born August 8, 1992) is an Armenian gymnast. He is a member of the Armenia national team in gymnastics. Davtyan is a bronze medalist in the men's vault event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, World Championship Gold Medalist in men's vault, European Youth Champion, silver medalist in the World Cup and an Olympian. Early life Arthur Davtyan was born on August 8, 1992, in Yerevan, Armenia. In 1998, at the age of 7, he began to do gymnastics. Since 2008, he is a member of the Armenian national gymnastics team. Career Youth In 2009, at the Youth Olympic Festival in Tampere, Finland, Davtyan, along with fellow Armenians Vahan Vardanyan and Arthur Tovmasyan, took 6th place in the team event among 23 teams. 2012 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 30th European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 23 to 27 May 2012 at Montpellier. The senior and junior events are different. During the senior's qualification the top eight teams progress to the team final, and the top eight gymnasts (two per nation maximum) on each apparatus qualify for the individual finals. After the qualification for the juniors the team medals and places are awarded. Diana Bulimar
Diana Laura Bulimar (; born 22 August 1995) is a Romanian artistic gymnast and a 2-time European Champion with Romania. She was part of the Romanian team at the 2012 Summer Olympics that won the bronze medal. Junior career 2010 In April, Bulimar competed at the 2010 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Vault (gymnastics)
The vault is an artistic gymnastics apparatus which gymnasts perform on, as well as the skill performed using that apparatus. Vaulting is also the action of performing a vault. Both male and female gymnasts perform the vault. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is VT. The apparatus Early forms of the vault were invented by German Friedrich Ludwig Jahn. The apparatus itself originated as a "horse", much like the pommel horse but without the handles; it was sometimes known as the vaulting horse.
