The International Gymnastics Federation (French: Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique, FIG) is the body governing all disciplines of competitive gymnastics. Its headquarters is in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was founded on July 23, 1881, in Liège, Belgium, making it the world's oldest existing international sports organisation. Yul Kyung-Tae Moldauer (born August 26, 1996) is an American artistic gymnast. He is the 2017 U.S. national all-around champion and the 2017 World bronze medalist on floor exercise. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Early life and education Moldauer was born in Seoul, South Korea on August 16, 1996 and named Kyung-Tae. Before he was a year old, Peter Moldauer adopted him and named him Yul after the actor Yul Brynner. Because his biological mother was chemically dependent, his adoptive father was told he might not develop into a "productive adult." Moldauer has three siblings, Leah, Sorcha and Sundo. Wataru Tanigawa
Wataru Tanigawa is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He is a two-time bronze medalist at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and a two-time gold medalist at the Summer Universiade. At the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei, Taiwan, he won the gold medal in the men's team all-around event. He also won the bronze medal in four individual events: individual all-around, floor, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Christopher Remkes is an Australian gymnast who has competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Early life An orphan, Christopher Remkes's date of birth is listed as 3 September 1996. According to the orphanage that took care of him, he was abandoned as a two-day-old in a hospital in Bacolod, Philippines. At two years old, Christopher Remkes was adopted by Mike and Dora Remkes who brought him to Australia. He spent his childhood in Happy Valley, a suburb of Adelaide and started getting involved in gymnastics at the age of five. He has an adoptive brother and sister who were adopted from Manila. Weng Hao (; born 21 March 1998) is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He competed in the 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Montreal, Canada, placing 6th in the pommel horse event finals. Krisztián Berki (; born 18 March 1985 in Budapest) is a Hungarian artistic gymnast. He is a pommel horse specialist. In 2016 a pommel horse element of difficulty level 'E' was named after him. Sports career He is the 2012 Olympic Champion, the 2010, 2011, and 2014 World Champion, and the 2007 and 2009 World silver medalist.
