Art Rooijakkers
Art Rooijakkers (born 29 August 1976) is a Dutch television presenter. He is best known as the presenter of the popular television show ''Wie is de Mol?'' from 2012 to 2018. Career In 2011, Rooijakkers presented the Dutch version of the game show '' Fort Boyard'', alongside Dutch radio DJ Gerard Ekdom. In the same year, he also participated as candidate in the popular television show ''Wie is de Mol?''. He won the show by identifying the mole (Patrick Stoof) and he went on to present the show himself from 2012 to 2018. Rooijakkers succeeded Pieter Jan Hagens as presenter of the show and Rik van de Westelaken succeeded Rooijakkers in 2019. He appeared as news reader in the 2012 film ''De club van lelijke kinderen''. He also participated as contestant in the game shows ''Weet Ik Veel'' (in 2013) and ''Ik hou van Holland'' (in 2009 and 2011). Geldrop
Geldrop is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, around 5 km east of Eindhoven city centre. Geldrop was a separate municipality until 2004, when it merged with Mierlo. Geldrop is noted for having a neighbourhood with streets named after characters and elements from the works of J. R. R. Tolkien. The spoken language is "Geldrops", a distinct dialect within the East Brabantian dialect group and very similar to colloquial Dutch. Transport The A67 motorway (part of European route E34) links Geldrop with Eindhoven. Geldrop railway station is on the Eindhoven–Weert line. Ellie Lust (born 17 September 1966) is a Dutch television presenter and former police officer and police spokesperson. Career Lust presented three seasons of the television show ''Ellie op Patrouille'' in which she followed police forces in various countries. She also presented ''Ellie in de Handel'' which focused on illegal trade. She also appeared as police officer in the crime television show ''Opsporing Verzocht''. ''Wie is de Mol?'' (''English'': ''Who is the Mole?'') is a Dutch adventure reality game show. It is based on the Belgian reality game show '' De Mol'', the original version of the format created in 1998 by Woestijnvis and broadcast on VRT. Format ''Wie is de Mol?'' is a reality television competition involving 10 candidates. These candidates travel to a foreign country where they have to complete assignments to earn money to fill the prize pot. However, one of the participants is the Mole. The mole's goal is to sabotage the assignments and cause the other candidates to fail and to keep the total amount of money in the pot as low as possible. The other candidates do not know who the mole is, and have to find out who this mole is. At the end of every episode the candidates take a multiple choice test about the mole's identity. ''Peking Express'' is a Dutch–Flemish reality game show that follows a series of couples as they hitchhike to or from Beijing (only in the first three seasons; seasons four and five are set in South America). The series has already gone through five seasons. In the Netherlands, it is screened by Net 5 and in Belgium by VT4. A German version was shown in 2005. The concept has also been sold to Scandinavia where it was broadcast for the first time in the autumn of 2007. The Scandinavian version is shown on Kanal 5 in Sweden, TVNorge in Norway and Kanal 5 in Denmark. Geraldine Jane Kemper (born 26 January 1990) is a Dutch television presenter originally from BNN. She won her job as a presenter with this public broadcaster through the television programme ''Sterretje Gezocht''. In 2015 and 2016 Kemper was nominated for the Zilveren Televizier-Ster Vrouw. Videoland is a Dutch Over-the-top media services, OTT online service provider owned by RTL Nederland. Originally it was a retail chain of video rental stores. Its main competitor is Netflix. History Videoland was founded by Nico Broersen and Gerard van Stijn and opened its first video rental store in 1984. From 1992 to 1996 Philips was the owner, and took over the management in the Netherlands. In 2004, the 200th store opened. By the end of the first decade of the 21st century, video stores came more and more under pressure due to the rise of Video-on-Demand services.
