Peking Express
''Peking Express'' is a Dutch–Flemish reality game show that follows a series of couples as they hitchhike to or from Beijing (only in the first three seasons; seasons four and five are set in South America). The series has already gone through five seasons. In the Netherlands, it is screened by Net 5 and in Belgium by VT4. A German version was shown in 2005. The concept has also been sold to Scandinavia where it was broadcast for the first time in the autumn of 2007. The Scandinavian version is shown on Kanal 5 in Sweden, TVNorge in Norway and Kanal 5 in Denmark. A French version named '' Pékin Express'' is screened by M6, with twelve seasons aired so far from 2006 to 2019, and a thirteen and fourteen planned for 2020. It can be seen on TV5 outside France. In Spain, the first four seasons of local version '' Pekín Express'' aired on Cuatro from 2008 to 2011; Atresmedia acquired the rights in 2015 and has produced two seasons since. Ludo Poppe
Ludo Poppe is the president of Eccholine, a line-production company for unscripted television formats founded in 2010. He is also the president of 4mat4, a television format managing company (Peking Express). From October 2008 to juli 2010 Poppe headed the Zodiak Entertainment front office in Los Angeles. From October 2007 to October 2008, Poppe was the Vice President in Continental Europe for Zodiak Television. From March 1993 to April 2008 Poppe was the president at Kanakna, the biggest independent producer of reality television in the Dutch-speaking market, located in Brussels. Poppe co-founded the independent television production company with and Stef Soetewey. TV5Monde (), formerly known as TV5, is a French public television network, broadcasting several channels of French-language programming. It is an approved participant member of the European Broadcasting Union. The network is available across Europe on satellite via Astra 19.2°E and Eutelsat Hot Bird (13°E) (both free-to-air), online and via TVPlayer. Antena 1 () is a Romanian free-to-air television network owned by the Antena TV Group, part of the Intact Media Group. Its programming consists of television news programs, soap opera shows, football matches, entertainment programmes, movies and television series. Antena 1's headquarters was seized by the Romanian state on 8 August 2014, due to a judicial sentence against Dan Voiculescu, the founder of Intact Media Group. The building may be sold in order for the state to recuperate the loss brought to it as a result of the fraudulent privatization of the Institute for Alimentary Research in 2003.
