Art Collection Of Fondazione Cassa Di Risparmio Di Fano
The Quadreria della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fano (Gallery of the Foundation of Fano Saving Bank) houses a notable collection of Italian paintings from the 1600-1900s, collected over the last forty years by Cassa di Risparmio di Fano (which now transferred to the holding entity – the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fano, Fondazione). It is located in the Salone del Consiglio of the financial institution, formerly the Case dei Malatesti, in the city of Fano, Marche. The painting gallery is open to the public by pre-arranged guided tour. The collection contains the following paintings from before the 19th century: Collection Quadreria Pinacoteca San Domenico Many of the sacred works and former altarpieces are since 2013 on display in the restored but deconsecrated church of San Domenico, Fano, San Domenico.

History Cassa di Risparmio di Fano was founded on 14 January 1843 in Fano, the Papal States. Due to Legge Amato, on 28 May 1992, a Società per Azioni (limited company) and a banking foundation (Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fano) were found. In the late 1990s, Banca Popolare di Ancona (BPA) acquired 60% shares of the company, with the foundation and other shareholders retained the remaining stake. In 1996 BPA owned 59.76% shares, its parent company Banca Popolare di Bergamo, Banca Popolare di Bergamo – Credito Varesino owned 0.29%. It was increased to 66.14% (plus 0.25%) in 1999. In 2002 the remain 33.38% was sold by the foundation for €75 million to BPA. That year BPA owned 99.771% shares, as BP Bergamo transferred their 0.25036% shares to BPA. Fano is a town and ''comune'' of the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region of Italy. It is a beach resort southeast of Pesaro, located where the ''Via Flaminia'' reaches the Adriatic Sea. It is the third city in the region by population after Ancona and Pesaro. The Marriage of the Virgin is the subject in Christian art depicting the marriage of the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. Giovanni Francesco Guerrieri
Giovanni Francesco Guerrieri (1589–1655) was an Italian painter and Caravaggisto. Guerrieri was born in Fossombrone. In 1606 he travelled to Rome where he studied under some notable artists including Orazio Gentileschi. Returning home in 1614, he completed two versions of the work ''Miracles of St. Nicholas of Tolentino''. Guerrieri made a second visit to Rome and earned a commission from Marcantonio II to do some frescoes and paintings. Upon completion he returned home again, and continued painting until after an accident in which his wife and daughter were killed.
