Arne Børresen
Arne Børresen (29 December 1907 – 14 December 1947) was a Norway, Norwegian international Association football, football Forward (association football), forward. On club level he played for Fredrikstad FK, Fredrikstad and Kvik Halden FK, Kvik Halden. He was capped 25 times for Norway national football team, Norway and scored one goal. Club career Børresen was born in Fredrikstad, and as a kid he played for the local team ''Kvik''. He joined Fredrikstad FK youth department in 1924, and in 1927 he made a breakthrough in the first team, alongside Sten Moe and Karl Pedersen (footballer), Karl Pedersen. The three youngsters was all contributors to Fredrikstad's success in the 1930s. Fredrikstad
Fredrikstad (; previously ''Frederiksstad''; literally "Fredrik's Town") is a city and municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Fredrikstad. The city of Fredrikstad was founded in 1567 by King Frederick II, and established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see '' formannskapsdistrikt''). The rural municipality of Glemmen was merged with Fredrikstad on 1 January 1964. The rural municipalities of Borge, Onsøy, Kråkerøy, and Rolvsøy were merged with Fredrikstad on 1 January 1994. The city straddles the river Glomma where it meets the Skagerrak, about from the Sweden border. SK Brann
Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen. Brann had been in the Eliteserien, Norway's Premier Division of Football, since 1987, bar one season spent in the 1. divisjon in 2015, but they were relegated again in 2021. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap.
