Armenian Liberal Party ( hy, Հայաստանի լիբերալ կուսակցություն; ''Hayastani liberal kusakcut'yun'') is a liberal political party in Armenia. The leader of the party is Hovhannes Hovhannisyan. The party was founded in 2008. History The party was a member of the Armenian National Congress between 2008 and 2012. In 2014, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan announced that the Armenian Liberal Party signed a cooperation agreement with the Prosperous Armenia party. The party did not participate in the 2018 Armenian parliamentary election. Ideology The party believes in strengthening human rights, fundamental freedoms, and creating a free market and competitive economic system in Armenia. Liberal Party (Armenia)
The Liberal Party ( hy, Ազատական կուսակցություն, translit=Azatakan kusakts’ut’yun) is an Armenian political party. It was founded on 1 March 2021 and is currently led by Samvel Babayan, former defense minister of the Republic of Artsakh and leader of the United Motherland party in Artsakh. History The Liberal Party was founded in March 2021 and subsequently announced its intentions to participate in the 2021 Armenian parliamentary election. The party won 1.17% of the popular vote in the election, failing to win any seats in the National Assembly. The party accepted the results of the election and congratulated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his reelection. Currently, the party acts as an extra-parliamentary force. In November 2021, the party participated in local elections in the city of Meghri, winning two seats on the Meghri city council. Armenian National Congress

Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP; hy, Բարգավաճ Հայաստան կուսակցություն, Bargavatch Hayastan kusaktsut’yun, abbreviated as ԲՀԿ BHK), is a conservative political party in Armenia. 2018 Armenian Parliamentary Election
Snap parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on 9 December 2018, as none of the parties in the National Assembly were able to put forward and then elect a candidate for Prime Minister in the two-week period following the resignation of incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on 16 October. They were the first elections after the 2018 revolution and the country's first-ever snap elections. The result was a landslide victory for Pashinyan's My Step Alliance, which received 70% of the vote and won 88 of the 132 seats in the National Assembly. Electoral system The 101 members of the National Assembly are elected by party-list proportional representation. Seats are allocated using the d'Hondt method with an election threshold of 5% for parties and 7% for multi-party alliances.
