Armen Petrosyan ( hy, Արմեն Պետրոսյան, born November 6, 1986) is an Armenians in Italy, Armenian-born Italian Kickboxing, kickboxer who competes in the middleweight division. An aggressive fighter, Petrosyan began training in Muay Thai after moving to Italy from Armenia, Armen Petrosyan and his brother Giorgio Petrosyan was put under contract of Oktagon management and born in Oktagon events that allow its growth worldwide, he became a two-time Italian champion and a European titlist before arriving on the world stage in 2010 when he took back-to-back wins over Vuyisile Colossa and Dzhabar Askerov and later appeared as a competitor on the ''Enfusion'' reality television show. World Muay Thai Association
The World Muay Thai Association (WMTA) is one of the oldest amateur and professional sanctioning organizations of Muay Thai in the world for the sport. The WMTA was created in the Netherlands as the World Muay Thai Association in 1984 by Thom Harinck, a Dutch kickboxing trainer and founder of the Chakuriki Gym in Amsterdam. Hook (boxing)
A hook is a punch in boxing. It is performed by turning the core muscles and back, thereby swinging the arm, which is bent at an angle near or at 90 degrees, in a horizontal arc into the opponent. A hook is usually aimed at the jaw, but it can also be used for body shots, especially to the liver. Technique and variations Hook punches can be thrown by either the lead hand or the rear hand, but the term used without a qualifier usually refers to a lead hook. When throwing a hook, the puncher shifts his body weight to the lead foot, allowing him to pivot his lead foot and generate kinetic energy through the hip, torso, and shoulder, swinging his lead fist horizontally toward the opponent. Unanimous Decision
A unanimous decision (UD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking and submission in which all three judges agree on which fighter won the match. In boxing, each of the three judges keep score (round by round) of which fighter they feel is winning (and losing). This only includes landed blows to the head or the body. In MMA, judges look for different criteria such as kicks, take downs, punches, knees, elbows, cage control, submission attempts and aggression. A decision is not required to be unanimous for a boxer or mixed martial artist to be given a victory. A knockout (abbreviated to KO or K.O.) is a fight-ending, winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, mixed martial arts, karate, some forms of taekwondo and other sports involving striking, as well as fighting-based video games. A full knockout is considered any legal strike or combination thereof that renders an opponent unable to continue fighting. Vladimír Moravčík (born December 5, 1981) is a Slovak middleweight Muay Thai Fighter. He was ranked #7 light heavyweight kickboxer in the world in May 2011, by Liverkick.com.
