Armen Adamyan ( hy, Արմեն Ադամյան; born 14 October 1967) is an Armenian professional football coach and a former player. Career Club As a player, he made his debut in the Soviet Second League in 1988 for FC Karabakh Stepanakert. Coaching On 4 September 2020, Adamyan replaced Abraham Khashmanyan as manager of FC Alashkert. The Soviet Second League (russian: Чемпионат СССР по футболу (вторая лига), Soviet football championship (Second League)) was the third highest division of Soviet football, below the Soviet First League. The league was formed in 1971 in place of the Class A Second Group of the Soviet football championship just a year after the division was downgraded to the third tier. FC Ararat-Armenia ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Արարատ-Արմենիա), is an Armenian football club based in Yerevan, founded in 2017.
