The Project Hate MCMXCIX (often referred to as ''TPH'') is a Swedish death metal band with influences from electro-industrial music. History The Project Hate MCMXCIX was formed in 1999 by long-time friends Lord K Philipson (formerly of Leukemia, House of Usher, Lame, Toolshed, Torture Division, as well as doing session work as live bassist/guitarist for Candlemass, Vomitory, Dark Funeral and Grave over the years) and Jörgen Sandström (previously of Vicious Art, Krux, Entombed, Grave, Torture Division, and live bassist/guitarist for Candlemass, Misery Loves Co., Kongh, to name a few). TPH recorded a three-song demo in the end of 1998, produced by famous producer Dan Swanö and featuring backing vocals by Entombed A.D. vocalist Lars-Göran Petrov. Nasum
Nasum (pronounced 'nah-zumm') was a Swedish grindcore band from Örebro, formed in 1992. The band released four studio albums and developed into "one of that country's premier metal acts". They disbanded after the December 2004 tsunami killed the band's frontman, Mieszko Talarczyk. In 2012, Nasum reunited with Rotten Sound frontman Keijo Niinimaa taking the place of Talarczyk, for a one-off tour to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary. Biography Nasum was formed in 1992 by Anders Jakobson (guitar) and Rickard Alriksson (drums/vocals), two former members of the band Necrony. Peter Dolving (born 24 October 1969) is a Swedish vocalist now living in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. He is best known as the former frontman of the heavy metal band The Haunted. Career Dolving began as a singer-songwriter playing in cafes in Sweden. He joined the band Mary Beats Jane and organized raves to support himself. He then opened the highly successful rock club called "Underground" in the basement of the restaurant Kompaniet in Gothenburg. Mary Beats Jane released their first album in 1994 and toured through 1997. Dolving has said Mary Beats Jane will never re-form. Leif Edling (born 6 August 1963) is a Swedish musician, best known as the bassist, main songwriter and one of the founding members of the doom metal band Candlemass (band), Candlemass. He is the only constant member of the band since its inception to the present day. Nevertheless, since the band's second reunion in 2002 Edling has been backed up again by founding rhythm guitarist Mats Björkman, who had been absent from 1997 to 2002. Mieszko Talarczyk (December 23, 1974 – December 26, 2004) was the lead singer and guitarist of the Swedish grindcore band Nasum, Genocide Superstars, and Krigshot. Known for his engineering and production abilities, he co-founded Soundlab studios with Millencolin guitarist Mathias Färm. In 2004, Mieszko went on holiday to Thailand with his girlfriend during a break in between albums, and died in the tsunami disaster on December 26, 2004.
